The Grand Knight Reported:
A. DGK Krempasky called on Brother Giacalone to report on the Golf Outing to be held on
June 11. There are 52 players registered and the sponsorships are the best ever, so the event
should be a success.
The Treasurer reported: Total Assets: $68,026.73
Details: Receipts: $4,866.86 Expenditures: $3,552.44
Check Book: $16,412.80 Investments: $30,716.86
Certif: $20,897.07
The Grand Knight read receipts and vouchers of deposit: Total: $2,492.40

The following communications were read:
A. Thank You from the Goldhammer family for the Council contribution to the American
Cancer Society.
The following activities were reported on:
A. Innocent d’Almeida reported on the Seminarian Picnic. It will be held at St. Patricks on
Saturday, July 24. It will be catered, the Council will provide servers. A tent will be rented
for the event.
B. The Council Picnic will be held at St. Patricks on Sunday, July 25 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm. Note
that the tent from the Seminarian Picnic will be left up for us.
C. The June 23 Social Meeting will be held at St. Patricks. It will be a pot luck dinner
(information in the Newsletter). The results of the Spring Raffle will be announced and the
Council Scholarships will be awarded.
New Business:
A. DGK Krempasky turned the gavel over to Elections Chairman Homer Chen to conduct elections
for the coming year. The nominations were read (see slate below) and Brother Chen asked for
additional nominations. There were none. It was moved, seconded and approved that the
nominations be closed. It was moved, seconded and approved that the slate be approved as read.

Forth Degree: Brother Jack Giacalone reported:
A. Brother John Moore is the new Faithful Navigator. He has set new membership as a high
priority.
B. Many activities are planned. All Third Degree Knights should seriously consider becoming a
Forth Degree Knight.
Financial Advisor Rick Morin:
We cannot procrastinate about protecting our families. Rick will be pleased to meet with any Knight
to discuss his financial situation. Also, he looks forward to having many new Knights in the Council
next year to help with their planning.
District Deputy John Durbin:
A. Offered congratulations to the outgoing Council officers for a fine year and to the new
officers on their election.
B. John introduced the new District Deputy. It is none other that our own Council Brother and
current District Warden, Jack Giacalone.
Prayers for sick, distressed and deceased are printed in the Newsletter, posted on the website, and
attached to the printed copy of these minutes.
Under Good of the Order:
50/50 was won by Homer Chen for $8.00.
